One of the secret ways for a French real estate buyer to learn about a property should really not be a secret so I am going to share it here.
It is something all French property buyers should do and that is, buyers need to speak to owners in the neighbourhood or in a residence to find out about up coming events like changes in the neighbourhood that can impact the value of a property in a negative way.
Negative events may not be shared by the owner. Of course, you need to do extra due diligence in terms of your research about a property but simply talking to a neighbour can help you find out something you would really like to know about.
