Which is the worst day to visit a French property?

French property buyers always enjoy going out to visit property on a sunny day in France. But this may be the worst day to visit a French property. Why?

Buyers need to visit a property when the weather is cloudy or rainy to have a true sense of the luminosity inside a home and also to see if there is any evidence of water leaks. (It is still a good idea to have a professional inspection done regardless of what you see).

I looked at one French property when it was raining and the owner showed me their new bathroom. To their horrow the skylight that had water dripping from it! I would never had known this issues if it had being a sunny day.

Should a French property buyer only visit a property on weekends?

Sometimes a French property buyer may only have the opportunity to visit a French property on weekends for personal reasons, however, what we have learned over time is that buyers need to visit a property at different times of day and during different days of the week to have a clear idea of the activities in the neighbourhood that impact the value of the property.
