In French real estate renting what is la trêve hivernale?
In French real estate the term la trêve hivernale refers to the period of time in which no rental eviction can take place during the so-called winter break. There are however, exceptions so whether you are a renter or property owner who rents your property you need to check the details of the rules and regulations on the French government site.
In France this period generally runs from November 1 to March 31 (inclusive) of the following year.
