Pros and Cons French real estate ground level RDC apartment in France

Advantages
Often a ground level apartment in France is at a lower in price because higher floor apartments are expensive.

Monthly charges may be less since you may not have to pay for elevator usage.

Moving in may be easier and less expensive since you don’t need to hire a crane to bring items to an upper floor.

Accessibility is easier and may in fact better for people with reduced mobility.

You may have a garden or a small yard to enjoy and perhaps space for a child to play

Disadvantages
Maybe noiser due to proximity to entrance way or street noise

Maybe less secure since on street level

Maybe less bright

Important note: some apartments noted as ground floor based on construction in the building maybe somewhat elevated so make sure you get pictures of the outside prior to avoiding a visit.
