Now some of the French property mystery is taken away.

As you may know French Notaries have helped increase the transparency of French property markets for many years, in partnership with INSEE by calculating the quality-certified price indexes of France and publicizing their cost analysis.

Now since 1st July 2017, this data on French real estate has been standardized by law within the framework of a new public service.

The information is shared on a new site The Site for Immobilier Notaires of France

The site offers:
1 – Median prices per m² for apartments, houses and land, for both new builds and older properties, according to geographical area and the period of change of ownership.

2 – The lists of the latest sales for all types of property

Uzès lies at the source of the Alzon river where a Roman aqueduct was built in the first century BC to supply water to the city of Nîmes, 50 kilometres. The Pont du Gard which is a world heritage site crosses this via duct. This town offers many charming and beautiful building including the local cathedral and high school.
