Pézenas is a pretty village located close to Montpellier in the Occitanie region in southern France. French playwright Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known better by his stage name Molière, lived a part of his life in Pézenas.  Molière was considered to be one of the greatest masters of comedy in Western literature it must have been amazing to see him host plays on the streets of Pézenas or listen to him telling stories in the local barber shop.
