What does s.d’eau mean in a French real estate advertisement?

esreafrance

In a French real estate advertisement you may have seen the abbreviation s.d’eau or SDD and it is not obvious what this means.

‘s.d’eau’ is actually an abbreviation for ‘Salle d’eau’ which is another way of saying SDD or Salle de Douche which is, generally speaking in France, a room with a shower.

So s.d’eau means shower room.
