Is this the First Chinese Investment in the Languedoc Wine Region?

A French wine estate located in Corbières (click for map) is most likely going to be the first wine property in the Langedoc region of the south of France to be sold to a Chinese buyer according to this article in the Wine Searcher.

The estate called Château La Bastide is 180 hectares and has approximately 60 hectares of vineyards.

The goal of the purchase is to export wines to the Chinese market which may in time increase the desire of the Chinese market to purchase increased amounts of French wine boosting the local French economy.
