Did you ever read a French real estate advertisement that says ‘vaste séjour avec véranda’ and wonder what is meant?
‘séjour’ is the French term for living room, ‘vaste’ generally implies large but that is open to interpretation.
‘avec véranda’ could mean it is a closed-in terrasse which in, for example, is typically expected to be on the ground floor but in France, a terrasse can be elevated and simply mean a large balcony. It could also mean a terrasse with windows. Best ask for a photo and visited the property on-site.
