Owners of French real estate properties that are co-properties typically have an annual meeting to discuss important issues that impact all the owners. This meeting is called l’assemblee generale. In English it may be called the annual general meeting.
Owners are recommended to be present since decisions that affect them financially are typically made at these meetings.
In most cases these meetings will be in French so if you don’t speak and understand clearly French bring a long a French speaking friend to help you understand what is being talked about.
