Mount Boron is sometimes called the Hollywood Hills of Nice because there are indeed Hollywood movie stars with residences in this area. Located high and above the East side of the Port in Nice and on the way to Villefranche Sur Mer properties on Mount Boron offer spectacular views from spectacular homes. Map of Port Residential area in Nice France

We are continuing our series on neighborhood maps for the NICE French Riviera area as requested by one of our readers Jenn.

When you are investing in French real estate in NICE on the French Riviera you will most likely hear of a number of different neighborhoods being mentioned.

Map Nice Port

Apartments on the Port offer beautiful views of the luxury yachts and high quality restaurants that are numerous in the area. The walkway around the Port has been recently redeveloped and offers a very nice walk. As you stroll you will get to see the boats leaving for Corsica.

It is worth noting Place Garibaldi to the North is being renovated with fresh paintings using The Art of Illusion: Trompe l’Oeil finishing on some of the buildings.

The Quai Rauba Capeu separates the Port area from the Promenade des Anglais to the West. One great landmark is the war memorial to the French who died in World War One and World War Two.

Located in Nice west of the ‘quartier des fleurs’ Nice centre is more specifically located east of Avenue Jean Medecin and North of the Old Town of Nice. In this area you will find many beautiful Nicoise buildings and access to the area is enhanced with the presence of the tram running down Avenue Jean Medicine.

This area is one of the hidden gems of the Nice neighbourhood recognized mostly by locals as a great place to live.

Map Nice Carré D’or (Gold Square)

The Carré d’Or or Golden Square is the hottest real estate area in downtown Nice on the French Riviera. The location is only a few minutes walk to the beach and has many pedestrian only areas lined with designer shops, cafes and restaurants.

The areas is bordered to the north by the majestic grand boulevard Victor Hugo.

Map of Musicians Quarter Area in Nice France, where is Musiciens Quarter?

When you are investing in French real estate in NICE on the French Riviera you will most likely hear a number of different neighborhoods being mentioned.

One of our readers asked could we create maps of the popular areas. So we are working on this.

This will help you as you work to learning about different real estate opportunities in Nice.

The First Map is for the Musicians Quarter or ‘Musiciens Quartier’. 

The ‘Musicians’ area in Nice is known for its beautiful buildings and is one of the more residential sectors of downtown Nice. The area is named after that fact that many of the streets are named after famous Musicians. e.g. Rue Paganini, Rue Rossini and Rue Verdi.

The Quartier Musiciens’ (Musician’s area) is popular with local and international Nice real estate buyers.
