French real estate is impacted by the new Loi Alur. One thing of concern for real estate owners, professionals and renters alike is the impact of rent contracts that are supposed to take place later this year (2014).

In fact there are currently 28 agglomerations that will be affected by the rent controls on French real estate. The cities inside these agglomerations that will be directly impacted will be made by decree later this year.

According to the French Ministry of Housing with it latest report yesterday March 25th, French new property construction starts are on a continual decline so far in 2014.

New construction has fallen again in the 3 months between December 2013 and February 2014.

French real estate developers see 2014 again as a BAD year.

French Property by Shigeru Ban Winner of the Pritzker Prize 2014

Japanese architect Shigeru Ban has created some intriguing French properties. Shigeru Ban is now the new winner of the nobel prize of architecture called the Pritzker Prize.

Mr Ban has created properties like the Centre Pompidou-Metz in France and the Vasarely Pavillion in Aix-en-Provence.
