What is a convocation of a assemblee generale in French real estate?

Owners of French real estate properties that are co-properties have an annual meeting. This meeting is called an ‘Assemblee General’ in French.

Prior to the meeting each owner receives a document that notifies the owners of all the items that are to be discussed and decided on during the meeting. This document is called “convocation a l’ assemblee generale annuelle’.

This is an important document so make sure you have someone who reads and understands French explain the details of the document to you.

If you don’t have some one to assist you and you would like an English speaking French real estate agent to help you understand this document, contact us and we will see what we can arrange for you. Our contact information is here.
