What does ‘a deux pas de’ mean in a French real estate advertisement?

French real estate agents naturally will use local French phrases in their French property advertisements which creates confusion for English speakers like you and me.

When I read the phrase ‘a deux pas de’ and then a phrase afterwards, I was confused but now I know and I am sharing with you.

‘A deux pas de’ means a few steps on foot or just a short distance away from something. For example, “a deux pas d’ecole’ means a short walk to a school.
